'OSHA Listens' Meeting Moved to March 4

Postponed by snow last week, the all-day event at Department of Labor headquarters in Washington, D.C., is already filled.

The safety profession's chance to share its recommendations and views with the top brass of OSHA is back on, scheduled for March 4 at U.S. Department of Labor headquarters in Washington, D.C. When OSHA postponed it last week because of heavy snow in the region, it said registrations for the event had been filled and are now closed.

A live webcast will be provided. The event is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. EST and continue until 6:30 p.m. EST.

Both ASSE and AIHA asked their members -- more than 40,000 safety and health professionals in all -- to send their comments to the respective Government Affairs directors, Dave Heidorn and Aaron Tripper, to inform the associations' comments at the meeting.
