Confined Space Planning Doesn’t Stop with the Reclassification or Permit
Entry into permit required confined spaces can be performed by eliminating hazards and temporarily reclassifying the space, with ventilation for alternate entry procedures, or using the permit required entry process. Whatever methods you are using it is important to make sure your controls are effective and to identify and address hazards. This can include hazards created by the work itself, or hazards not directly associated with the confined space that could present a risk to workers.
In this webinar we will review approaches to assessing and controlling hazards including atmospheric hazards, lockout/tagout, emergency planning and rescue.
