Uvex Opens 'Culture of Safety' Online Hub

The eyewear company, part of Sperian Protection, says the tips, articles, and tools available there will help companies improve their cultures.

Sperian Protection's Uvex® brand launched a Culture of Safety online resource center last Thursday at www.uvex.us to help companies improve safety in their operations. The site includes tools, articles, tips, links, and expert insights from Uvex and other industry leaders.

"Knowing where to start when adopting a safety culture can be complicated in any industry," said David Iannelli, senior product manager for Uvex. "That is why we are introducing this one-stop center that not only guides safety professionals through the process, but also provides them with a vast array of additional resources. We are pleased to expand our commitment to workplace safety through this important initiative."

The company said its research showed promoting eye protection is an important first step in creating a safety culture. The Culture of Safety hub features the following four focal areas:
