New ASSP Executive to Oversee Safety Standards Development

Jim Nulsen brings more than 20 years of growth and partnership experience in safety and compliance markets.

Standards development and technical services at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) will come under Jim Nulsen when he begins serving as chief innovation and growth officer Oct. 19.

Nulsen will also oversee sales and business development and report to CEO Jennifer McNelly. McNelly linked the appointment to ASSP's stated focus on reducing serious workplace injuries and fatalities.

Nulsen most recently founded Growth Disco LLC and led revenue and growth strategy for Ally Safety as a fractional executive. He previously held partnership and business development leadership positions at Go1, Vector Solutions and Scenario Learning.
