Safety Groups Launch Fifth Annual Survey on Protective Equipment Challenges
Safety managers can share their daily challenges with equipment buying and compliance in a new collaborative study open through Sept. 8.

Safety professionals across industries have an opportunity to share their daily operational challenges through a new national research initiative launched by J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. and the International Safety Equipment Association.
The fifth annual PPE Pain Points Study evaluates the real-world experiences of environmental, health and safety leaders. The research focuses on four core operational areas: program development, equipment purchasing, worker training and enforcing proper equipment usage on the job.
This year marks the third consecutive collaboration on the research between the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights and ISEA, an industry trade group representing manufacturers of safety equipment and technology.
Survey findings will be compiled into a comprehensive industry report designed to identify persistent compliance barriers, highlight evolving worker protection needs and guide future product innovation across the safety sector.
Participants may complete the survey anonymously through Sept. 8. A final analysis of the data will be released to the public following the conclusion of the response period.
