AIHA Announces IH Professional Pathways Program

The program encourages and supports earning credentials for IH professionals.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association announced a new program for industrial hygienists called the IH Professional Pathways Program. Announced during the AIHA Fall Conference in Orlando, the program was created due to a desire to align resources and development opportunities with the various career stages of the profession. The program will encourage and support those who earn credentials within the industry.

"IH Professional Pathways will bring great value to our members by helping align our conferences, courses, and publications with the needs of industrial hygienists, EHS technicians, and allied professionals," said Steven E. Lacey, Ph.D., CIH, CSP, AIHA's president-elect.

An infographic called Career Stages was developed to promote the program, describing knowledge areas that are key for every IH professional.
