2007 Symposium & Expo Set for April 13-20 in 'Magical Place'
Orlando's resort-like Rosen Shingle Creek is the site of this year's American Association of Occupational Health Nurses Symposium & Expo. Newly opened last September, the 230-acre site near the Florida Everglades, about 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport, will be the all-in-one venue for the April 13-20 event, promising a unique mixture of luxury, learning, and general association business.
Located at 9939 Universal Blvd., within minutes' driving distance of the area's major theme parks and other attractions, the Rosen "rises in a magical place," developers say, featuring 445,000 square feet of meeting/event space; nine restaurants and lounges; a fitness center and spa, complete with nine treatment rooms; an18-hole, championship David Harman-designed golf course; four pools; two lighted tennis courts; and 1,500 guestrooms, all accentuated by the Spanish revival-style architecture of the facility and its backdrop of dense oaks and pines.
With all workshops, meetings, presentations, and sleeping accommodations happening under one shingled roof, this year's Symposium & Expo is designed to offer attendees unparalleled convenience.
