Members of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), a group for scientists and other professionals in occupational and environmental health and safety, will have a new CEO. AIHA announced Oct. 29 that Randy W. Fiser, MBA, AAiP, will fill the role.
His selection by AIHA's board followed a search that spanned the country. Fiser has held several executive posts. They include founder and CEO of Advisor 360, LLC, from 2023 to 2026; interim president and CEO of the Future Business Leaders of America, Inc., from 2024 to 2025; CEO of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) from 2020 to 2023; and CEO and president of the American Society of Interior Designers from 2012 to 2020.
During his time leading AGU, Fiser carried out a fresh strategic plan, positioning AGU as a worldwide organization, putting more emphasis on solutions science and growing revenue, AIHA said.
Fiser said he is eager to listen to and learn from AIHA's staff, members, volunteers and partners. He said he looks forward to working with them to grow the association's impact, strengthen the profession and help prepare future leaders in occupational and environmental health and safety.
