Southeast Florida Electrical Inspectors Association Joins NFPA Affiliate Network

The new chapter will support regional coordination on electrical code enforcement, education and training.

Electrical inspectors in southeast Florida are now represented by a new National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Electrical Inspection Section affiliate chapter focused on National Electrical Code compliance.

The Southeast Florida Electrical Inspectors Association has been designated an affiliate chapter of the NFPA Electrical Inspection Section (EIS). Its work will focus on electrical safety, code compliance and the application of NFPA 70, the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Affiliate chapters operate independently while coordinating with NFPA on technical issues and standards development.

The Southeast Florida organization joins a broader network that includes electrical inspector groups in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio and Rhode Island.
