IHMM Names James Poage 2025 EHS Management Award Winner

Poage has held the Certified Safety Management Practitioner credential since 2017.

James Poage has received the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management’s (IHMM) 2025 Excellence in EHS Management Award for advancing industrial hygiene programs and strengthening climbing safety standards in the manufacturing and billboard industries.

IHMM also recognized Poage’s mentorship and advocacy on behalf of safety professionals.

Poage serves as vice president of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Augusta Chapter and has promoted IHMM credentials among other safety managers.
