Construction Appreciation Week Highlights Industry Workforce
Annual observance recognizes workers who build and maintain infrastructure across the United States.

Workers involved in building homes, highways and other essential infrastructure are being recognized during National Construction Appreciation Week.
The five-day observance takes place during the third week of September and highlights the role construction workers play in transportation, manufacturing and commerce.
Construction employees work across a range of environments, including residential projects, commercial properties, hospitals and infrastructure sites. These jobs can involve heavy equipment, work at height, electrical systems and other occupational hazards that require planning, training and protective measures.
National Construction Appreciation Week was established by I Build America in 2018. It is now observed annually during the third week of September.
The week is intended to raise awareness of construction careers and recognize workers across the industry.
