Organizers Open Registration for Annual Safe and Sound Week
Businesses across the country can access free resources to strengthen safety programs and recognize workplace achievements.

Employers looking to strengthen workplace safety measures can now register for the upcoming Safe and Sound Week campaign.
The nationwide initiative, organized annually by the U.S. Department of Labor, offers businesses access to practical resources, planning materials and downloadable activities designed to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Participation is open to organizations of any size across all industries, including construction, manufacturing, healthcare and transportation. Companies that complete local safety events during the campaign can download official certificates of participation and virtual challenge coins.
According to campaign organizers, proactive safety and health programs help businesses identify potential workplace hazards before incidents occur, improving both overall operational sustainability and bottom-line performance. Previous campaigns have drawn participation from more than 4,600 businesses across all 50 states, U.S. territories and international locations.
While the primary campaign activities are scheduled for mid-August, participating organizations are encouraged to host internal safety events during whichever week best fits their operational schedule.
