J.J. Keller Opens Safety Professional of the Year Awards

Applications are open until July 31 for the annual awards recognizing outstanding environmental, health and safety professionals.

Safety professionals in the United States and Canada have two weeks remaining to submit applications and nominations for the 2026 J. J. Keller Safety Professional of the Year (SPOTY) Awards.

The annual program recognizes outstanding achievements among environmental, health and safety (EHS) professionals. Nominations are being accepted online through 5 p.m. CST on July 31.

Awards will be presented to one winner across three distinct categories based on company size: small, medium and large. The program is exclusive to safety professionals whose organizations are existing customers of J. J. Keller.

Each category winner will receive a custom prize package that includes a $1,000 donation to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of their choice, a commemorative plaque and $750 toward safety gear. Winners can also select one of several proprietary software or training program subscriptions, bringing the potential total value of each prize package up to $47,200.

A panel of regulatory and safety compliance experts will judge the submissions. J. J. Keller plans to announce the winners in September.
