OSHA Offers Free Virtual Safety Training for Federal Agencies

A three-day online seminar series hosted by the OSHA Training Institute will focus on hazard controls and inspection processes.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s OSHA will host a free, virtual training event designed to help federal agency personnel strengthen workplace protections.

The three-day event will feature half-day seminars led by the OSHA Training Institute Education Centers and the Office of Federal Agency Programs. Sessions will cover critical safety issues, including the OSHA inspection process, control of hazardous energy, combustible dust hazards, fall protection and office ergonomics. Additional topics will focus on workplace violence, heat stress, lead hazard awareness and managing respiratory protection programs.

Registration is restricted exclusively to federal agency employees. Participants must self-register before the closing deadline.

The OSHA Training Institute provides occupational safety and health education for federal and state compliance officers, state consultants and other government personnel. The Office of Federal Agency Programs coordinates OSHA investigations of safety and health complaints to ensure safe working conditions across federal workplaces.
