An artificial intelligence-enabled safety and operational risk management software company has expanded its portfolio with a new corporate acquisition.
Novara announced it has acquired Ensogo, a Toronto-based, AI-native sustainability platform. The move is designed to integrate Ensogo’s environmental tracking capabilities and AI technology into Novara’s existing operational risk and safety management software.
The combined software platform will support predictive risk modeling, natural language analytics for safety data, automated compliance workflows and carbon accounting across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. The acquisition also expands Novara’s corporate presence into Canada and positions the company to scale its services across operationally intensive sectors, including manufacturing, mining, energy and construction.
As part of the transaction, Ensogo co-founder and CEO Elie Mouzon will join Novara as chief strategy officer. Mouzon previously held executive roles at EHS and ESG software firms Intelex and Enablon, and served as a senior advisor with analyst firm Verdantix.
Ensogo co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Tommy Ng will also join the company as vice president of AI engineering to oversee agentic AI initiatives.
The corporate restructuring follows other recent additions to Novara's executive leadership team. Dave Lundstrom joined the company as chief technology officer, and Jade Hendrix was appointed chief product officer. The expanded management group will oversee product development and AI integration across the unified platform.
