Applications and nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 J. J. Keller Safety Professional of the Year Awards, an initiative celebrating outstanding achievements in workplace health and safety.
The awards program honors environmental, health and safety professionals across three distinct categories based on organization size: small, medium and large. One winner will be selected from each category to reflect the unique workplace challenges safety managers face.
The program is open to safety professionals employed by J. J. Keller customers operating within the United States and Canada. Eligible individuals can submit an application or nominate a peer online through the company's official website. The submission window closes at 5 p.m. CST on July 31.
Each category winner will receive a commemorative plaque, a $750 credit toward personal protective equipment and a $1,000 corporate donation made to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of the winner’s choosing.
Additionally, winners can customize their prize package by selecting one of four corporate compliance and training subscriptions. Depending on the selected subscription—which includes options for safety management, compliance networking, training management with virtual reality components or leave management software—the total value of each prize package can reach up to $47,200.
A judging panel composed of corporate safety and compliance experts will evaluate the submissions. The organizers will announce the winners in September, followed by a featured presentation during a corporate webcast in October.
