The AIHA announced it is initiating an executive search to identify a new leader to succeed its decade-long CEO, Lawrence Sloan.
Sloan will step down from his position at the end of 2026 to pursue personal and other professional interests.
The organization has activated its succession plan to guide the transition. A selection committee composed of board members and at-large members has been formed to oversee the process. The association has retained the executive search firm Vetted Solutions to conduct the search.
The search committee aims to select a new chief executive officer by the fourth quarter of 2026 to ensure a seamless transition before Sloan’s departure.
