The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) has released the daily schedule for its Safety 2026 Professional Development Conference and Exposition, highlighting a wide range of education sessions, networking opportunities and expo events focused on the evolving challenges facing workplace safety professionals. The conference will take place June 15–17 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
The annual event, now in its 65th year, is expected to draw thousands of occupational safety and health professionals from industries including manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, utilities and government. Conference programming will focus on current topics such as artificial intelligence in safety, mental health and psychological safety, risk management, serious injury and fatality prevention, workforce development and safety technology.
According to ASSP, attendees will have access to more than 200 education sessions, general sessions, networking events and an expo featuring the latest workplace safety technologies and services. The organization said the event is designed to help EHS professionals address rapidly changing workplace risks while improving worker protection and organizational performance.
The expo floor will feature exhibitors showcasing innovations in PPE, industrial hygiene, wearable technology, AI-powered safety solutions, heat stress prevention and monitoring technologies. ASSP said the conference continues to grow in scale and attendance as employers increasingly prioritize workplace safety, operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
ASSP officials noted that the conference will also provide continuing education opportunities, including CEUs and pre-conference professional development courses covering topics such as leadership, occupational health and safety management systems and prevention through design.
