ChemicalSafety and CAS have launched a strategic integration designed to embed scientific chemical data directly into Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procurement workflows. The collaboration incorporates CAS structured content into the ChemicalSafety Environmental Management Systems (EMS) platform to streamline how organizations identify and manage hazardous materials.
The integration allows EMS users to retrieve product data via CAS Registry Numbers. The system now auto-populates purchase requests with verified supplier information and provides immediate access to Safety Data Sheets. This digital bridge is intended to eliminate manual data entry and reduce the risk of human error during the procurement process.
By centralizing scientific intelligence within the EMS, the partnership provides procurement and EHS teams with real-time data to support informed decision-making. The automated workflow ensures that safety protocols and regulatory documentation are addressed at the point of purchase rather than after chemicals have entered a facility.
