AIHA Connect 2026 to Feature Keynotes on Neuroscience, Future of Work

David Eagleman and Tom Koulopoulos will explore how AI, neuroscience and workforce shifts are reshaping occupational health and safety.

As artificial intelligence and emerging technologies reshape the workplace, AIHA Connect 2026 will spotlight both the human and technological sides of that shift through keynote presentations from neuroscientist David Eagleman and futurist Tom Koulopoulos.

The conference will take place June 1–3 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Eagleman will deliver the opening keynote on Monday, June 1, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. His presentation, “This Is Your Brain On… How the Brain Interprets Data, Adapts to AI, and Responds to Emerging Sensory Technologies,” will explore how the human brain processes information and adapts to rapidly evolving technologies.

A neuroscientist, author and entrepreneur, Eagleman is known for his research on brain plasticity and sensory substitution technologies, as well as his work translating complex science into practical insights.

The closing keynote will be delivered by Tom Koulopoulos on Wednesday, June 3, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. His session, “The Future of Work,” will focus on how organizations can navigate economic disruption, workforce changes and the increasing integration of digital technologies in the workplace.

Koulopoulos, founder of the Delphi Group and an author on innovation and technology trends, is expected to outline how businesses can adapt to a workforce shaped by automation and emerging technologies.

Together, the keynote sessions are designed to frame the broader themes of AIHA Connect 2026, emphasizing both the human and technological dimensions of occupational and environmental health and safety.
