Women’s Bureau to Hold ‘Women in Apprenticeship: Building Our Power’ Webinar

The webinar will take place on November 17, 2022, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

In the fiscal year 2021, 73,677 women were active apprentices, representing a little over 13 percent of the total number of active apprentices, according to the Department of Labor (DOL).

On November 17, 2022, the DOL Women’s Bureau is hosting a webinar titled “Women in Apprenticeship: Building Our Power.” Held on National Women in Apprenticeship Day, the discussion with Women’s Bureau Director Wendy Chun-Hoon will address “how the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs act can promote gender equity in apprenticeships,” according to the DOL.

The webinar will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. EST. Those who wish to attend can register online.
