ISO Outlines Educational Management Standard

ISO 21001 is a management system that is partially aligned with ISO 9001:2015.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published an article outlining the features of ISO 21001: Educational organizations—Management systems for educational organizations—Requirements with guidance for use. The standard is partially aligned with ISO 9001:2015. It provides a management tool for educational organizations hoping to improve their processes and address the needs and expectations of those who use the service.

According to the post, the standard will help educational providers align their activities with their mission and vision as well as offer more personalized learning. The standard has reached the Draft International Standard (DIS) stage.
