Airline Service Complaints Down from Previous Year in March and February 2016

Complaints were down almost 18% in March

According to a news release from the DOT, airline consumer complaints in March 2016 were down 17.7 percent from the previous year, and down 5 percent from February.

More specifically, the DOT received 1,429 complaints about airline service from consumers in March 2016 vs. 1,736 in March of 2017. The report also includes data about cancellations, tarmac delays, chronically delayed flights, and the causes of flight delays.
