Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Dies in Stabbing, Son Arrested
Mark Costello was involved in an argument with his son at an Oklahoma City restaurant Sunday evening, the Oklahoman reports.
Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Mark Costello,59, was stabbed to death Sunday evening during a heated argument with his son at an Oklahoma City restaurant, The Oklahoman reports. Costello and his wife, Cathy, agreed to a meeting there with the son at the son's request, Steve Lackmeyer and three colleagues reported Sunday evening.
The son, Christian Costello, 26, was taken into custody after stabbing his father inside the restaurant and again outside.
Restaurant customers detained the attacker until police arrived minutes later, according to Lackmeyer's report, which says Mark Costello was pronounced dead on arrival at OU Medical Center.
