Safety Marketing Group Presents Top Awards

The Safety Marketing Group announced the winners of its top awards on Thursday following the organization's annual conference at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. The list included SMG's Preferred Supplier of the Year, John Cal Murray Distributor of the Year, and the Rich Harper Commitment to Excellence Supplier and Distributor Award winner.

Radians won the Rich Harper Award (Excellence in Distributor Survey Results), a Joint Marketing Agreement Award, and was named Supplier of the Year/Peak Performer. Northern Safety won Distributor of the Year/Peak Performer. Safety Products, Inc. received the John Cal Murray Award (Excellence in Supplier Survey Results), Rayhsa Vallejo and Portagas were honored for Most Growth percentage, and Safety Today won a Joint Marketing Agreement Award.

SMG is a cooperative of safety distributors that is based in Brooksville, Fla. The group has 57 distributor members and 56 preferred and associate suppliers; representatives of 46 suppliers and 56 distributors attended the conference.
