2008 AAOHN Symposium & Expo Slated for Salt Lake City

Even as we bask in the afterglow of all the networking, education, and fun of the 2007 Symposium & Expo in Orlando last week, we can look forward to reconvening for the same purposes next year in Salt Lake City, where the 2008 edition of the event will take place at the city's Salt Palace Convention Center, April 25 - May 2.

The Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau has this to say about the city, located 4,330 feet above sea level, between the Wasatch and Oquirrh (pronounced "oaker") Mountains: "There are really only two things you need to know about Salt Lake. First: you can get from anyplace in Salt Lake to any other place in no time at all. That's good news, because, second, there are a whole bunch of places you're going to want to visit, and you're not going to want to waste any time getting there." Just 10 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, the Salt Palace is nestled in the heart of the city's downtown.

Following the success of this year's Symposium & Expo, the agenda for 2008 will also feature an opening night reception and a final day lunch to provide for unopposed opportunities for exhibitors to showcase their wares. For those interested in exhibiting or otherwise participating in next year's show, contact Lisa Trofe at SLACK Inc., 856-848-1000, ext. 300, or via email: [email protected].
