Your Safety Degree Could Get You One Step Closer to Your CSP®. The Board of Certified Safety Professionals recognizes Columbia Southern University’s online Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in occupational safety and health as Graduate Safety Practitioner® Qualified Academic Programs. Safety professionals who graduate from a QAP are eligible to apply for the GSP® designation. This designation eliminates the need to sit for the Associate Safety Professional® exam prior to becoming a Certified Safety Professional®.
