J. J. Keller & Associates Inc.’s Virtual Reality Training Solution has been named a Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT) 2026 Top 20 Product, recognizing it as one of the most significant new or improved products introduced to the trucking industry in 2025.
The immersive training platform uses virtual reality simulations to allow employees to practice safety and compliance procedures in a controlled, realistic environment without exposure to real-world hazards. The system includes courses covering pre-trip inspections, reasonable suspicion, lockout/tagout, and other critical safety tasks, delivered through the J. J. Keller Virtual Reality Training Headset.
The VR solution integrates with the company’s Training Management Center, enabling employers to enroll workers and track course performance alongside existing e-learning, streaming video, and classroom-based training programs.
“It’s an honor to accept this award on behalf of everyone at J. J. Keller who helped make our virtual training solution possible,” said Rustin Keller, president, CEO, and vice chairman of J. J. Keller. “Improving the effectiveness of safety training in order to protect people and the businesses they run is key to fulfilling our purpose.”
HDT editors evaluated new and significantly improved products reported during the past year to develop a list of finalists. A panel of fleet managers then scored the finalists based on innovation, ability to address industry challenges, and potential impact on fleets’ bottom lines. Products must be commercially available or expected to be available in 2026, and companies are limited to one award per year.
According to HDT Editor and Associate Publisher Deborah Lockridge, involving fleet managers in the selection process helps ensure that recognized products provide practical, real-world value for trucking operations.
The complete list of 2026 Top 20 Products appears in the January/February print issue of Heavy Duty Trucking and online. Awards are presented during the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting and exposition.
J. J. Keller has served the transportation industry since 1953 and provides safety and compliance solutions to more than 500,000 companies across North America. Heavy Duty Trucking, a Bobit Business Media brand, has covered the trucking industry for more than a century.
