Ohio Safety Congress & Expo Coming to Columbus This Month

The annual event runs from March 27-29, 2024, and features more than 150 educational sessions and workshops.

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation is once again set to host the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo (OSC) from March 27 to 29, 2024, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

According to the event’s website, OSC is “the nation's largest free occupational safety event.”

The annual conference is dedicated to assisting employers in enhancing the safety and health standards within their workplaces. With over 7,000 participants expected to attend, the event offers over 150 educational sessions and workshops as well as the continuing education credits.

Attendees will also hear keynote addresses from documentary filmmaker Brett Culp and electrocution survivor Eduardo Garcia. On March 27, Culp offers insights from his career on employee engagement and navigating change. Then on March 28, Garcia will discuss being electrocuted by 2400 volts of electricity and the journey of personal growth it took him on.

OSC aims to address the challenges businesses currently face in workplace safety and health. Participants will be able to network with peers and interact with over 300 exhibiting companies. And while all sessions will be conducted in person, a select number will also be streamed online. Those interested in attending can find registration details on OSC’s official website.
