Grace Industries Reveals New Worker Safety Monitoring System

The system enhances the safety monitoring of workers in solitary, remote or high-risk industries.

Grace Industries has introduced Grace Connected Safety, an advanced system designed to enhance the monitoring and safety of workers in solitary, remote or high-risk environments.

Grace Connected Safety leverages the company’s Grace Cloud Connect Monitoring and Alerting engine. This system targets lone workers, integrating features like fall detection and suspension trauma prevention. The system even monitors a worker's safety status directly, without relying on external call centers, through options such as ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular connections.

Key components include worker-worn Grace Pendants and the Grace Cloud Connect portal. These pendants—encompassing models like TPASS, SuperCELL and WorkForce—are equipped with motion-sensing, fall detection, distress panic button, GPS and location awareness. The system offers various connectivity choices and is compatible with fixed or mobile locations.

Moreover, Grace Cloud Connect enables companies to assign and schedule their monitoring attendants and configure custom notifications for critical safety events. The system's web-based portal allows easy configuration to align with an organization's standard operating procedures, including regular worker check-ins. In an emergency, Grace Cloud Connect notifies the relevant parties of the worker's distress and exact GPS location through text or email map links.

Grace Industries' new system works for various sectors, including utilities, construction, renewable energy, warehousing, agriculture and municipal services. The company’s 40-year legacy in life safety solutions includes over a million safety system products sold in over thirty countries.
