Can't Get to Denver? Attend Virtual Sessions

You can sign up by May 14 for the best deal on a full day of live sessions from AIHce 2010 on Wednesday, May 26, and never have to leave your office.

If control banding, nanotechnology, and ensuring a healthy indoor environment are important to you, but your budget or workload won't allow you to be in Denver for this month's AIHce conference, a virtual presentation of several May 26 sessions may be just the thing. AIHA says the live 2010 Virtual Tech Sessions offer "the AIHce experience, CM points and practical information – with zero travel costs."

Early registration ends May 14; registration by that date costs $399 for AIHA members and $425 for non-members. Virtual attendees may participate in Q&A sessions and may view presentation abstracts online, and they will be automatically subscribed to the AIHce Virtual Tech Session (AIHA) Community, which will afford online networking opportunities, AIHA promises.

The event will start at 10 a.m. Mountain time and end at 7:30 pm MT, with a two-hour nano presentation that contains multiple case studies coming first. After a break come indoor environmental studies until 3:40 p.m. MT, then another break, and then health hazard and control banding strategies and applications.

AIHA says the full Virtual Tech Session has been approved by ABIH for 1.5 certification maintenance (CM) points, but COCs points and CEUs will not be issued and partial credits will not be provided.
