Through technical seminars, interactive panel discussions, and dynamic demonstrations, facility managers, engineers, energy managers, safety consultants, and electrical contractors will discover the latest solutions to help make facilities more safe, reliable, productive, efficient, and green. The event includes a keynote given by Jesse Berst, founding editor of SmartGridNews, who will present on successfully transitioning to the new energy economy. General panel sessions will feature leading experts who will discuss topics regarding the technical challenges of integrating alternate energy sources, how to effectively manage strategic energy risks, as well as strategies to improve reliability and increase employee safety.
The conference includes two technical tracks: Electrical Distribution Reliability & Safety and Energy Management. They will focus on the tactical and day-to-day issues professionals face as technology evolves, alternative energy sources are introduced, new laws are enacted, and safety requirements change. The conference will offer Continuing Education Units for professionals.
The conference kicks off at 8 a.m. Sept. 14. Attendees are also invited to attend Schneider Electric's Energy Day, a complimentary pre-show event featuring presentations from Schneider Electric's Energy Business, focused on the energy dilemma, the smart grid, and demonstrations of the latest products and solutions which address these issues. The conference will conclude at 3 p.m. Sept. 15.
