IOSH Backs Healthy Workplaces Campaign

The campaign is put on by EU-OSHA

IOSH has announced its support of EU-OSHA’s ‘Healthy workplaces for all ages’ campaign, according to a news release. The campaign, which runs from Oct. 24-28, will highlight the importance of good occupational safety and health management throughout people’s working lives. It will also provide employers with resources to help manage the safety and health of an aging workforce.

"IOSH is pleased to support EU-OSHA’s ‘Healthy workplaces for all ages’ campaign and its proactive age-management approach,” said Shelley Frost, IOSH Executive Director of Policy. "Working lives are getting longer – older workers are a valuable resource, making positive contributions to organizations and good occupational safety and health management helps ensure that all workers can fulfill their potential at work."
