DuPont Announces 'Dirty Work' Contest Winners

The winners are awarded prizes for tackling filthy tasks while wearing DuPont garments.

DuPont Protection Technologies has announced the winners of its 2013 "Dirty Work" Contest. For the third annual contest, contestants had to send in photos of themselves completing "dirty" jobs while wearing DuPont Tyvek and Tychem garments to help keep them clean.

In particular, contestants had to send in a photo of themselves wearing a DuPont ProShield, DuPont Tyvek, or DuPont Tychem garment while completing their work. Photos were then judged on a variety of criteria and winners were contacted. Chad Grant of Cohutta, Ga., took grand prize for a photo showing him cleaning number six fuel oil while wearing a DuPont Tychem QC suit and DuPont Tyvek coverall. He won $1,500.

The first-prize winner won $750 for a photo of himself and his workers cleaning a sewage station wet well in DuPont Tyvek suits. Several other contestants won $150 prizes for their photos.
