Port Authority Posts 1 WTC Update Video

Posted on the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the new video shows glass panels being added at the 80th floor of the new skyscraper and concrete pours on the 93rd floor.

A 3:47 video posted Sept. 11 on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's WTCProgress YouTube page reminds us how fast work has progresses on the tallest skyscraper in New York City. One World Trade Center at 104 floors stands on the site of the World Trade Center towers that were destroyed 11 years earlier.

The video shows numerous workers, who of course are wearing fall protection and other PPE, installing and inspecting glass panels on the exterior of the 80th floor, pouring concrete for floors and stairs on the 93rd floor, and working on the spire that will be placed on top of the structure.
