Record Demand for AIHF Scholarships
For the second year in a row, the foundation awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships this year, Treasurer Brian Daly said.

INDIANAPOLIS -– The American Industrial Hygiene Foundation awarded $107,000 in 30 scholarships during the past year, AIHF Treasurer Brian Daly, CIH, PE, told the crowd during the June 19 opening session. He brought the latest scholarship recipients on stage and introduced each of them, with the group receiving applause from the audience.
Daly said a record number of scholarship requests were submitted during 2011, and the past year was the second in a row in which the foundation awarded a total of more than $100,000.
Since 1982, AIHF has awarded more than $1.1 million in scholarships overall to further the education of aspiring IH professionals, Daly said.
