VPPPA Prepares for its Most Prominent, Prestigious Powwow

The 26th annual national conference and exposition of the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association is fast approaching. Pre-conference workshops begin Aug. 22, and the four days of the conference proper run from Aug. 23 - 26. The event includes the 2010 edition of the VPPPA Expo, which will be open daily from Aug. 23 - 25. All conference activities are taking place this year at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center in Orlando.

VPPPA says its premier event offers attendees myriad opportunities to network, learn, and advance as leaders in occupational safety and health. Organizers are expecting 3,000 attendees this year, representing all areas and professions affiliated with the safety and health industry. The event's 2010 theme is "Making Safety & Health Universal."

The conference will feature two full days of workshops addressing current safety, health, and environmental issues; keynote and general session speakers; the three-day expo with more than 200 vendors showcasing products and services; evening receptions; and even a poker tournament (on Tuesday, Aug. 24, from 7 p.m to midnight)!
