Deborah Morrin Appointed Public Director to BCSP Board
BCSP Board adds new Public Director with background in finance and organizational growth.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) has appointed Deborah Morrin, CPA, MBA, as a Public Director on its Board of Directors.
Morrin is a respected financial leader with a record of growing companies across public, private equity-owned, and family-owned organizations. Her career spans diverse industries, with a consistent focus on industry leadership and above-average growth.
Among her accomplishments, Morrin founded and led Kase Orion CFO, a CFO services firm that grew to $1 million in revenue with a team of 15 consultants and more than 40 client organizations. At Kraft’s New Ventures Group, she developed acquisition and expansion strategies that grew the group from $125 million to more than $800 million in three years. During her tenure at Activate Healthcare, the company's valuation rose from $30 million to $110 million.
Morrin currently serves on the board of Heartland Alliance Health, a nonprofit health services provider in Chicago. Her previous service includes roles with the Kellogg Advisory Board, the Chicago Yacht Club Finance Committee, and the board of ISEL Corporation.
She holds a certificate of completion from Wharton’s Corporate Governance program (2024), a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Morrin fills the second of two Public Director positions on the Board, joining Mary Hjorth, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, who has served since 2023.
