The international safety event attracted 62,000 visitors from 140 nations.

A+A 2023, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, concluded after a four-day event, emphasizing innovations for a safer and healthier workplace. Focusing on digitization and sustainability, the event showcased groundbreaking technologies such as smart wearables, AI-based health coaches and virtual reality applications.

With participation from 2,200 exhibitors spanning 58 countries, the fair occupied over 80,300 square meters in 12 halls. It attracted approximately 62,000 visitors from 140 nations. According to a release from organizers Messe Düsseldorf, an overwhelming 96.4 percent of attendees acknowledged their visit surpassed expectations.

“This year’s A+A has addressed current issues and challenges, provided food for thought, demonstrated approaches to solutions and promoted personal exchange,” A+A Director Lars Wismer said. “We are delighted with the positive feedback and would like to thank everyone for the trust they have placed in us. It was great to see how the trade fair as a platform inspires, connects and drives the industry forward.”

At A+A 2023, the 38th Basi International Congress on Occupational Safety and Health tackled topics such as artificial intelligence and climate change. Attracting 3,000 delegates, the congress featured more than 320 speakers discussing advances in national and global prevention strategies and occupational research findings.

Hosted for the first time at A+A 2023, the WearRAcon Europe conference—a premier event on exoskeleton technology—offered a platform for research and development experts and businesses to discuss the latest trends. The event also featured the Corporate Fashion Show and the Start-up Zone, a networking hub for young companies. Meanwhile, the North American Pavilion featured 44 U.S. companies.
