Second Global Seminar Set on High-Challenge Storage Protection

The NFPA and the Fire Protection Research Foundation will present it in London next May.

The second global seminar on high challenge storage protection will take place May 22, 2014, in conjunction with the Fire Sprinkler International 2014 conference taking place at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London, the NFPA Foundation announced. Sessions during the seminar will address emerging storage hazards and new storage configurations and protection challenges.

NFPA is co-hosting the seminar with the Fire Protection Research Foundation, which is a co-host – with the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association – of Fire Sprinkler International 2014. The latter event's website notes the hotel is fully sprinklered.

FPRS notes sprinklers "are still not used in Europe as widely as they should be and this event is intended to demonstrate best practice in the wider and more effective use of sprinkler technology."
