MDNA Puts Trade Show Updates Online

Trade shows are scrambling to entice attendees amid signs that business travel has been sharply curtailed. The 19th Annual Construction Safety Conference (Feb. 17-18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.) is just two weeks away, and the Construction Safety Council announced yesterday it will waive late fees for anyone who registers by Feb. 16 and will extend Early Bird Pricing ($245 for one day or $395 for the first two days; $295 for the Feb. 19 professional development seminars; $595 for all three days). Today, Messe Düsseldorf North America, the U.S. subsidiary of German show organizer Messe Düsseldorf, announced online initiatives that could help safety professionals who can't travel to the big A+A show.

News and updates from the company's trade fairs are now available on the Messe Düsseldorf North America blog and can be followed on Twitter. Photos from selected trade fairs will be posted by MDNA on Flickr.

MD runs trade shows for the printing, plastics, packaging, foundry and metallurgy, thermo processing, wire and tube, glass, medicine, rehabilitation, occupational safety (A+A), wine, boating, and RV industries. The blog offers news from across this wide spectrum.
