Gift from EPA: Free Webcast on Oil Spill Prevention, Jan. 13

EPA Regions 5 and 7 announced that they will host a four-hour seminar on EPA's Oil Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) final rule on Jan. 13, 2009. A one-hour live question-and-answer session will be included at the end. This seminar will cover major topics like SPCC plan basics, integrity testing, applicability, secondary containment, and recent rule revisions.

The seminar will be offered via satellite at 33 locations throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin. For those who cannot attend at one of the broadcast locations, you may view the seminar over the Dish Network or via a high-speed-Internet connection as a webcast. The seminar also will be available to view for up to three months after the broadcast.
