ISEA Launching Job Board on Monday

The International Safety Equipment Association said today it will launch an online, interactive job board on Monday that is named the Safety Equipment Industry JobBase. It will match qualified professionals with prospective employers and will be free for job seekers to use, Arlington, Va.-based ISEA said. Beyond posting resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs to review later. Job seekers also will be able to create a search agent to provide e-mail notifications of jobs that match their criteria, the association announced.

ISEA member companies will get a significant discount on job listings, so the JobBase represents "another valuable benefit of membership in the association," according to ISEA, which is the leading U.S. trade association for safety equipment manufacturers.

"We're very excited about Safety Equipment Industry JobBase because we know how critical it is for employers in this industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources," said ISEA President Daniel K. Shipp. "And it's important to help enable smooth career transitions for those seeking industry jobs."

Employers will be able to post jobs online, search for candidates based on specific job criteria, and create online resume agents to get automated notification of qualified candidates. They will be able to include information about their companies and a Web site link in every job posting. Starting Oct. 27, the JobBase will be accessible directly from ISEA's homepage.
