Howard Leight Offers Online Hearing Protector Selector with New Site

The Howard Leight unit of Sperian Protection Americas has launched a new howardleight.com with offerings on fit, selection, protection, and motivation assistance built in. What the company says is the industry's first Hearing Protector Selector is included.

"The new howardleight.com marks a tipping point in hearing conservation," said Renee S. Bessette, marketing manager for Sperian Hearing Protection, LLC. "We are committed to becoming a safety manager's partner in managing their program, and our new site offers everyone the freshest tools to make hearing conservation happen." The site was developed based on users' feedback that identified the need for a more comprehensive online experience, according to the company.

Hearing Protector Selector will offer a range of solutions for specific applications; users can use their noise exposure levels or specific ratings, product styles, and/or features to get the most applicable recommendations that can be printed or e-mailed to other people directly from the Selector.

Other features include an Online Product Catalog, Best Practices in Hearing Conservation with educational and motivational materials, and regionalized content for the Americas, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. The site was developed with with Catapult Thinking of Boston, Mass. (www.catapultthinking.com) and Motionstrand of Escondido, Calif. (www.motionstrand.com).
