The conference marks the midpoint of the NIOSH PtD National Initiative. The goal is to take stock of the nation's progress in improving worker safety and health by including prevention methods in all designs that affect workers. Progress will be reported through presentations showcasing research results, engineering education enhancements, successful stakeholder practices, and policy development and advancement.
