AAOHN Essay Contest Deadline Today

Today is the last day to send submissions for the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses' National Occupational Health Nursing Week 2008 Essay Contest.

To enter, applicants must submit a 500-word essay from their prospective as an occupational health nurse and based on the theme "Healthy Workers: Healthy Business."

The first place winner will be awarded a $500 scholarship to be used toward any AAOHN continuing education program. The second place winner will receive one year of AAOHN membership.

The contest is open to all AAOHN members and essays will be judged based on relevancy to the theme, innovation, and writing style. Essays may not exceed 500 words.

A panel of judges who are expert in the subject of occupational and environmental health nursing will choose essay winners. Winners will be announced at 2008 Symposium & Expo and winning essays published in AAOHN News and on the AAOHN Web site.
