The Western Occupational Health Conference (WOHC) is the annual meeting of the Western Occupational and Environmental Association (WOEMA). Founded in 1941, WOEMA is dedicated to fostering members in the profession and practice of occupational and environmental medicine (OEM) and to enhance their efforts to promote and improve health in the workplace and the community. Among ​WOEMA's ​core ​commitments ​is ​support ​of ​continuing ​medical ​education. ​WOHC is ​widely ​respected ​as ​one ​of ​the ​premier ​national ​meetings ​available ​to ​OEM ​practitioners ​and ​focuses ​on ​this ​complex ​and ​evolving ​field.

The Western Occupational Health Conference (WOHC) offers clinical sessions that cover the broad spectrum of occupational & environmental medicine (OEM), presented by the Western Occupational & Environmental Medical Association (WOEMA). WOEMA seeks to prevent occupational illness and injury and expedite patient recovery time from injury. WOHC provides (CME) programs that strive to improve our learners’ clinical decision-making skills in order to improve overall worker health. Over 22 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) is offered at this course. Topics include: Case Discussions of Disability and Return to Work, Orthopedics, Neurology, How to Excel as an Independent Medical Evaluator (IME), Essentials of Pharmacotherapy, Maintaining a Healthy & Safe Workforce Across Complex Work Settings, Corporate Wellness, Treating Chronic Pain, Understanding Functional Restoration, and more.
