Nigel Ellis, brings the reader up to date with the latest best practices, standards, requirements and innovative equipment for addressing falls in the workplace. Dr. Ellis, a founding member of ANSI/ASSP Z359, addresses codes of practice, the hierarchy of controls, active fall protection systems, protection by worker activity and equipment selection. The book includes case studies that demonstrate real-world situations, a fall protection program with extensive examples and a detailed glossary of terms.
