The goal of the partnership is to prevent injuries and exposure to hazards during construction of the 110,500-square-foot addition. The project includes three buildings, an intensive care unit, a patient care tower, and administrative departments.
"GCcoworking will build a more accessible, efficient, flexible, and modern public service to better serve Canadians," said Steven MacKinnon, Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility Carla Qualtrough. "The GCcoworking locations outside of the downtown core will help reduce long commutes to centralized locations, contributing to both a positive work-life balance and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions."

"A full evacuation of New Orleans involves several agencies and several moving parts. It is important to test those types of activities before you face an actual emergency."

"But we cannot enforce parity laws or eliminate administrative barriers without the help of state and federal authorities, and that's what is limiting treatment now."
