#VPPPA33 Set for the Big Easy

New Orleans is a very popular destination and Louisiana is in VPPPA's Region VI, the biggest region, which encompasses Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Now that the 2016 national conference of the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association is completed and in the books, we can look ahead to #VPPPA33, which will be the 2017 edition. The 33rd Annual National VPPPA Safety & Health Conference is scheduled for Aug. 29-Sept. 1, 2017, inside the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

It promises to be a blast for thousands of attendees, given that the city's a very popular destination and Louisiana is in VPPPA's Region VI, the biggest region, which encompasses Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

(It's far too early to mention that late August is peak hurricane season for the U.S. Gulf Coast and Atlantic coast.)

The convention center is located in the heart of New Orleans. The facility received a "Safest 70" award earlier this year from the Louisiana Workers Compensation Corporation, an acknowledgement of excellence, outstanding performance, and commitment to workplace safety that is presented to the top 70 of more than 16,000 entities insured by LWCC. The Morial Convention Center was recognized based on its safety efforts in preventing injuries and maintaining a consistent workplace safety history in 2015.
